Synopsis

This summer, Syd, a Shiba Inu, is on a trip to the Island of Strands. She gets back in touch with her old friend Max and meets a mysterious Labrador retriever named Quei-Li. With her friends, old and new, Syd rediscovers her old urban jaunts and favourite street foods. However, her fond memories of this city perhaps aren't what they seem…

Story features:

  • Technology is ahead of our current world, but us humans can see the parallels and similarities to present time.
  • Why does it seem like Quei-Li knows much, much more about Syd than she lets on? What are her motives?
  • Syd in turn is trying to find out something about Quei-Li and her brother...
  • What is "The System" and the effects of it measuring and dictating the value of each individual dog?

Game features:

  • On a lighter note: Gorgeous art based on real locations and local street food are a feast for the eyes.
  • Multiple story branches as you find out the truth behind Syd, Quei-Li, and Max and their relation to "The System".
  • Steam features planned: Steam achievements, trading cards, badges, backgrounds, and emoticons

Papa bless, proud of you.

That feeling, when you starts to submerge in the game... And the game ends. The demo 1.0 is really short, as I can say. Completed it for 10 minutes. I don't even to be in time to understand the events. But it looks really promising, I will follow you. Because VN with dogs is great. Art is nice, really. (But sometimes I think that eyes in some poses looks and located very strange...)

Unfortunately, Tyranobuilder is not good tool for creating VNs with high quality content. When I tried to run demo on my PC, I can't crop game window size, and somehow adapted it for my 1366x768 screen resolution. Guys, don't even try to push on "fullscreen" button in the game (you will see the only 1/2 of screen then). Don't like this engine exactly for "window size" function.

By the way, the log in game looks so strange. It shows only a few last lines. But everything else is OK. It more seems like alpha demo, but not final demo anyway.

Thanks for the opportunity to try this product. Wish you good luck with the development!

Hello Veshurik,

Thank you for taking the time to try the demo out, your feedback is invaluable to us! We will definitely think of adding more content to the demo. Regarding the fullscreen button for smaller devices, we will try to fix it ASAP as it was brought to our attention earlier as well. We apologize for the inconvenience!

Regarding the engine, we tried to make it seem more polished compared to several peers using this engine. However, we've come to accept its limitations. so for the final product we will definitely, definitely be porting it to Ren'Py. For demos we may still use Tyrano, but you can be assured that we will bring the best user interface possible to the end product.

We will keep updating the demo, and we really value feedback like yours! Thank you for following us! :)
